Nine Women

This is a very personal portrait of nine women. The hydrangea is my oldest daughter, the bible is my youngest daughter, the tea pot is my sister, thread and thimble is my mother, tea cup is my mother-in-law, vase with brushes is myself, yarn and needles is my Polish grandmother, the oriental vase is my great grandmother, and all is resting on a crochet table cloth made by my Italian grandmother.

I would like this still life of our family to remain in the family. I show it because I welcome objects presented to me to paint as a remembrance still life of someone or a group of special people.
