Afternoon Sycamore

This painting is from along the river walk along the Maurice river near my studio. It was first sketched for design on a nice afternoon. My dogs were with me asleep. Back at the studio, I developed the painting, and the finished piece was entered in the American Artist Professional League NJ winter show. It won the Pauline Wick award, and was also purchased as gift by the mayor for his wife.
