Early March

Early March was a challenge to show snow on the ground and on the trees. The snow in the etching is metal that has been untouched by acid. The smooth metal wipes clean and ink will only gather in the etched lines. I used a very tiny brush to paint the acid resist on the tree branches. It is a favorite spot on the Egg Harbor River, near Weymouth Ruins, in Hamilton Twp, NJ. It is a popular etching, it reminds people of their favorite place.
